Best countries to visit in October

Canada

Early October – a wonderful time to explore the colorful national parks of Canada. The temperature is perfect in early October with the fall foliage reaching its peak.

A few best spots to visit include the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec, the Bruce Peninsula and Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, the Fundy Coastal Drive in New Brunswick and Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island of Nova Scotia.

Nepal

Nepal is one of the world’s most famous destinations for trekking with some of the highest mountain peaks including Mount Everest. October is the right time for a trek in Nepal for adventurous vacationers. In October, monsoon comes to an end, leaving behind pleasant temperatures and a lush green landscape.

Ecuador

An exciting place to visit year-round is the Galapagos Islands. However, due to the low in-flow of tourists, the prices for tours are usually lowered in October. The islands are always filled with unique wildlife, such as giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, waved albatrosses and iguanas.

Mauritius

This tropical paradise does not really has any bad time to visit. However, October sees a particularly comfortable weather in Mauritius, with cool nights and warm sunny days. Visiting the Le Morne Brabant – a UNESCO World Heritage site and peninsula that boasts of rare plant species – is a must.

The diverse landscape of Mauritius offers a myriad of sporting activities, including golf, mountain trekking, scuba diving, hiking, snorkeling and kayaking.

Argentina

Argentina sees the arrival of spring from September to November which is an optimal time to enjoy the mild weather of Buenos Aires. Artists and tango dancers can be spotted on the colorful cobblestone streets of Calle Museo Caminito. You can wander around Cementerio de la Recoleta, an impressive cemetery. Or visit and learn the history of Buenos Aires’ main square – Plaza de Mayo that reaches back to the founding of Buenos Aires itself in the year 1580.
