The UK Student Visas for International Students
The United Kingdom is the first country to introduce point based system to the student visa category. The system allows the qualified individuals to pursue higher Education in the UK. The globally competitive education system of the UK has huge demand from the students coming from the Asian countries such as India, China and other countries which send more number of international students every year to abroad countries.
The international students must secure requisite points by securing the sponsor from the University of United Kingdom. The students who come to the United Kingdom will have the advantage to work for 20 hours a week, during the holidays the students will have the opportunity to work for 40 hours a week.
There are five major categories of student visas to the United Kingdom that allow International Students to Work in the UK.
Tier 4 for Adult students: This visa is exclusively for the international students who have completed their 16 years of education in their country.
Tier 4 –Student Visitor: the international students aged above 18 willing to study six month course in the UK. The students cannot adjust the visa with the visitor category.
Tier 4 Child Students – Students aged between 4 and 17 can join the United Kingdom’s fee paying school.
Tier 4 – Child Visitor: Students aged over 17 can apply for this category, if they are willing to study course with the duration of six months.
Tier 4 – Prospective Student: The students can join the course within the duration of six months and can adjust the status to other categories, such as adult student category.
