Recently, British government has made credible adjustments to visa process by means of immigration reduction. The effect of new system has been started according to the most recent quarterly ONS statistics. ONS (Office for National Statistics) presented the statistics of last year up to September 2011as 252,000 issued visas and also specified the figures of September 2010 as 255,000. A decrement can be observed from the statistics which was in last year. Statistics of Home Office were released yesterday and resulted in significant reduction of immigrant figures. The statistics were collected up to March 2012 with clear figures of number of UK visas issued. The reduction in number of visas is the outcome of new immigration rules by UK province. UK Immigration Minister, Damien Green noted that stringent new rules are placing the actual difference. He also addressed that the new rules’ effect is started biting. The first quarter results have shown that there is 62% drop of student visas in 2012 as a result of new rules. Overall, reduction is observed in work visas, setting purpose visas and family visas.
