Students with least funds can avail Australian student visa
The government of Australia has reduced the financial restrictions in the immigration norms for encouraging overseas students to come to Australia for higher studies. According to the new amendment, students with low financial resources can apply for higher education visas.
According to Michael Knight’s reforms, valid students will be permitted visas even if they don’t have sufficient funds to show the immigration authorities.
Prior to this amendment in visa rules, students applying for Australian student visa mandatorily required to show $100,000 but now students coming for next session need to manage only tuition fees and living expenses in the country.
According to the immigration authorities, students coming for vocational courses especially from India and China need to show $36,000 less. But the Universities in Australia have recommended that the applicants should at least show minimum $18,000 for their yearly expenses. The authorities also said Universities will provide job opportunities for the deserving candidates. Graduating students with a bachelor degree will be allowed to work for 2years.
