Australia Skilled Nominated Visa – Case Study
Mr. Jacob was registered with us for AUSTRALIA SKILLED NOMINATED VISA- Subclass 190. His success is very special to us, as it demonstrates how patience, coordination and eye for detail and most important of all EXPERTISE can lead to SUCCESS.
Mr. Jacob was a client who was very cooperative and worked very closely with his case manager and together we were successful in getting positive Skill assessment outcome from Australian Computer Society under ANZSCO- 261312: DEVELOPER PROGRAMMER.
Mr. Jacob was unable to score Proficient scores for English and could only get competent scores. After a lot of research and follow up we could get him apply for State nomination from New South Wales however the application was not successful as he lost points for age. After this the case manager followed up on client and motivated him to appear for PTE again. This time he prepared well and scored Proficient score in PTE.
The day when scores was announced was the last of the nomination from State, we were successful in submitting the application and all efforts paid off when he got the Invitation.
We prioritized and guided him file PR application to DIBP. Now came the real challenge after all the efforts, when he received a “Natural Justice letter from DIBP case officer”, stating that they have found Developmental issues in his child who is added as Dependant in the application.
This is where the Immigration consultant plays a major role. We reviewed the complete letter to understand the concerns communicated by the DIBP case officer. Based on this we arrived the issue was – his three years old child had some health issues with regards to developmental activities such as delay in reaching milestones, and not able to match with the same age group children.
Mr. Jacob confirmed that there were developmental issues but it has improved as confirmed by pediatricians and school authorities. Considering this we suggested client to go for the same tests as conducted for Medicals with other pediatricians and collected reports and also report from School Principal. We drafted a detailed explanation letter explaining all points and also supported by documentary evidence like Funds to support any further treatment involved, medical reports from other pediatricians.
The end result was “VISA GRANT”, DIBP has accepted the explanation and granted PR to Mr. Jacob and his family.
We often hear people say that “we know the complete immigration process and do not need an Immigration consultant”. The truth is every applicant’s profile and process looks simple and straight but we never know when a complication arises. In case of Mr. Jacob also it was a simple process until he received a Natural Justice Letter which was least expected and had it been proper explanation was not provided it could have lead to Rejection.
