Hence, the first step is to determine whether you meet the criteria of any of the Canada immigration programs. Eligible candidates can make an expression of interest in Canada immigration by creating an online profile. Candidates need to provide details regarding their skills, work experience, language proficiency, education and other personal information.
Applicants who are qualified will be placed in the pool and are ranked according to a Comprehensive Ranking System. Candidates who do not hold a job offer must register with Canada’s job bank.
How ranking will be given?
Applicants of Canada Express Entry will be given ranks according to the assessment of Comprehensive Ranking System, which ranks aspirants based on certain features such as:
Candidates will be awarded a total of 1200 points under the comprehensive ranking system. The highest-ranked candidates with valid job offers or provincial nominations will be invited to file an application for Canadian permanent residency. If the candidate is chosen, then he or she will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency. Under Express Entry, applications will be processed within six months.
