H-1B visa scheme is getting back its lost flavor!! After months of being reticent it has come back with a bang. And this time it is going to be given like hot cakes as only 800 of the 65,000 slots are vacant. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) reveal that H-1B visas have reached the Congressionally-mandated cap of 65,000. As per the figures tallied till December 15, only 800 slots are yet to be occupied. The USCIS has observed a sudden rush in the H-1B applications, with the toll reaching 64,200 till December 15. With this rate of application inflow, it would not be surprising if it is announced that the cap has been reached before the year ends.
